Except that won't work with Rafaelo or the Bandit since you can't duel them.

Now that the Dark Knights have been made slightly easier with the 6.x update (Thanks, Grizzly Gamer!), I'm able to defeat them fairly reliably with the Chopping Blade and the King's plug and ring. No idea what it's going to take to beat the King.

I'm seeing this on the Mac version too. Arrows work fine to move to next or previous scene.

When running for the first time, instead of double clicking, Control+Click the icon and choose "open" from the pop-up menu. This should allow you the option to bypass  the security warning.

Did you drag the game file into the Applications folder to install it?

Just wondering if the new Cloud Save feature entirely replaces the local save file, or is it optional?

I could be wrong, but I think that plug won't be available until a later update, along with The One Plug.

You need to do some other stuff before the library will be open at night.

They are zipped, but you'll need an application to decompress and recombine them back into one file. "The Unarchiver" app is free from the Mac App Store. Drag the two downloaded game files (do not change their names) at the same time onto The Unarchiver and it will unzip and merge them into a single DMG ready to install.

Don't double click to open the game, instead control+click and choose "open" from the pop-up menu. Then choose "open" from the dialog box. That should bypass the security check.

I've had the best luck in Eden Beach, Feasterra and Lavalanch. They only come out at night. You can either keep running away until you get a dark knight, or fight all the battles and build up your resources.

My problem is I can rarely defeat them even knowing their weaknesses as well as having the king plug and ring and the chopping blade. The cursor moves way too fast on the final round and I find it almost impossible to get in a hit. Any advice on making them easier to defeat?

You can't just unzip them - you'll need an application to decompress and recombine them back into one file. "The Unarchiver" app is free from the Mac App Store. For macOS people: If you don't already have an app to unarchive the new updated files, "The Unarchiver" app is free from the Mac App Store. Drag the two downloaded game files onto The Unarchiver and it will unzip and combine them into a single DMG ready to install.

(2GB installed. Somebody's been working out 😯)

I'm seeing this on Mac too.

So I was able to start and run the game on my Mac laptop, and it looks promising so far, but I can't seem to figure out the controls. When I go into Options I can fiddle around a bit to figure out how to change settings, but there's no save or back button to go back to the main screen. The only option I can find is to quit and start over. Also can't figure out how to delete characters when asked for a name - can only add characters or spaces. I don't have a mouse I can use, so the on-screen controls guide isn't any help. And is there an option to save at some point?

Thank Goddess - saved me a TON of grinding back up. Thanks!

NO! Updating to the new version on macOS deleted my saved game and all my progress! 😭😭😭

In the second part of Ghart's affinity trail, there's a white box over Ghart's face at the beginning. (OMG, I LOVED the festival! Will we ever find out who won? ;-)

The giant's jewel mining game seems to be broken, but only some of the time. When there are 4 or more colors in the ring, clicking when the arrow is in the correct color gives me a failure. If it happens once, then it will fail for the rest of the game (and also play the "fail" sound when exiting the game).  This only seems to happen half of the times I try the game, no idea what is different to cause the error. I'm on macOS 10.15.7.

I'm also seeing a LOT of typos in the English dialog - too many to list here. It's not a big deal as I can figure out what is meant, but you might want to have a proofreader go through all the text at some point.

Is it possible to defeat a dark knight at this point?

I suspect you're meant to advance your affinity with several of the characters to open up more activities and quests. Just consider collecting as many pairs of underwear as possible as your next quest :-)

In the new 4.2 release on the Mac, in the first part of Orderic's affinity story, where he talks about jerking off with his friends by the lake, near the very end two dialog panels are in French instead of English. Would love to know what he's saying :-)

Excellent!! Sorry you're having such a hassle with Patreon, but I actually prefer this option for myself. Love the new preview video - it's adorable! (Ahem: *guarantee*)

3rd tier: live cams? 😏

Sorry if I'm being dense or missed something, but how much is the monthly Patreon subscription? If you stay subscribed after getting the first release of the game, is it another $12 per month? By the end of a year (if the final release takes that long) that would be almost $150 for a $30 game! I do want to support you guys, but not sure I'm willing to go that far.

Totally understandable. Just want you guys to get as much value and reward as possible out of the hard work you're putting into this project. More success means other developers might be more willing to take a chance on a small niche like this.

Just a suggestion: you might want to consider selling a separate digital "art book" of all the character assets for people who enjoy the artwork but don't have the patience to play a long game (or people who just want a complete collection all in one place). Something like Lifewonders did for Tokyo Afterschool Summoners. Not a huge amount of extra work and might generate a few dollars for you.

Well that's remarkably lame on Unity's part. Kind of what I suspected though.

Don't know if this is a bug exactly, but when I run the demo my MacBook Pro quickly gets very hot - enough so the fan starts blowing hard - and I can see in Activity Monitor the game is using a huge amount of power even when there's nothing moving on screen. I rarely have this happen with any other app. This game doesn't seem to be that graphics intensive (no 3D or texturing), so is this the overhead of the Unity Engine we just have to live with? I'm on a 2016 MacBook Pro with 8 GB of RAM running macOS Catalina.

The heating issue is a bit uncomfortable, but won't stop me from playing the game. Very excited for the "full release". ;-)
